The institution is proud to contribute over 250 Dairy Technologists to the nation who are adorning much coveted positions in the dairy and food industry. Our graduates are absorbed as Dairy Extension Officers in the Department of Dairy Development, Govt. of Kerala. Many students could pursue their higher studies in Business Management, Bio-Technology, Food Technology and other fields and have successfully been placed as executives in many private and public sector organisations. Some organisations where our alumni are working include AMUL, NDDB, DFRL, Mother Dairy, Smithkline Beecham, Heinz India, Cadburys, Reliance Industries Ltd. and Banking institutions such as SBI, ICICI, HDFC, IOB, PNB, SIB etc.

The alumni of the college formed CDST Graduatesâ?? Association (CDSTGA) during 2003, providing a comprehensive platform to involve actively in the welfare of college alumni, and work to support the milk producers and processors in the state. The members of the association are scattered across the globe. The CDSTGA conducts annual general body meeting and CDST alumni meet every year. The working committee consists of one representative from each batch. The alumni take active interest in the college and its activities.
